The official release date for Honkai: Star Rail on Android, iOS, and PC is set for April 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. JST / April 25 at 10:00 p.m. EDT. PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions are currently in development with no confirmed release date at this time. We will provide an update once a release date for these versions are confirmed, however. Moreover, players who pre-register by April 25 receive Star Rail Pass 20 and the 4-star character Serval (Erudition: Lightning) 1 on launch day. Following launch, players can expect post-launch support similar to Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact.
Honkai: Star Rail invites players to board the Astral Express and travel across unique worlds, each filled with different adventures and surprises. During the whirlwind trip of a star-chasing ride, players will meet new companions as well as faces familiar to series fans, resolving Stellaron-related conflicts, and eventually unraveling the mysteries concealed within. This role-playing game features a newcomer-friendly strategic turn-based combat system and large maps and mazes involving puzzle-solving and exploration, providing players with epic combat and a journey of discovery full of surprises and rewards.
However, you can also pay real money for character banners, which give you a random chance of acquiring high-level characters. Another feature brought forward from Genshin is the Pity system, which guarantees a 4-star character every 10 pulls, and a 5-star character every 90 pulls.
Additionally, with the pre-registration having already surpassed 5 million and currently over 10 million accounts, players can look forward to receiving a collection of bonus rewards. These include around 20 Star Rail passes for the gacha system, as well as a complimentary 4-star playable character named Serval.

They join a band of adventurers, the Trailblazers, traveling from one world to another aboard their space train, the Astral Express.
