While Uzui might not have blown any of the three away at first, the same cannot be said for the Entertainment District. As soon as they enter, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are blown away by how big and bright the Entertainment District is. It is a jarring difference from the small towns and more traditional settings that they have experienced so far throughout the series. Tanjiro comments that the city looks like it is in the middle of the day when they arrive, even though it is clearly nighttime when they enter. The fish out of water feeling for all three of them puts them at a disadvantage right from the start, which is likely going to make their mission more difficult in future episodes.
The music has so been the highlight of the series, but it looks like the story is far from an atmospheric thriller. A nonchalant fight with a demon pretty much killed that potential. Looks to be a standard action adventure. Very disappointing after that first episode.
In the first episode we met Tomioka Giyu, named in this episode. He gave our heroes the quest to meet and learn under Urokodaki Sakonji, and become a demon slayer. All while hopefully curing Nezuko of her demonic affliction.
The first of these seven episodes will consist of original content, focusing on Rengoku as he travels towards the Mugen Train. However, the remaining six episodes will then be a reboot of the 2020 feature film. 041b061a72
