How to Install and Use SPAI Traffic Pac for FSX and P3D

If you are looking for a realistic and dynamic traffic addon for your flight simulator, you might want to check out SPAI Traffic Pac. This is a freeware package that adds AI traffic to your FSX and P3D simulators, using real-world airline schedules and liveries. You can enjoy flying with or against hundreds of AI planes in various regions and airports, with realistic flight plans and ATC communications.

In this article, we will show you how to install and use SPAI Traffic Pac for FSX and P3D V3 and V4. You will need to download the package from the official website or from a trusted source, and follow the instructions carefully. Please note that this addon is not compatible with other traffic addons, so you will need to disable or uninstall them before using SPAI Traffic Pac.

Step 1: Download SPAI Traffic Pac

The first step is to download the SPAI Traffic Pac from the official website or from a trusted source. The package is about 1.6 GB in size, so it might take some time depending on your internet speed. You will get a zip file that contains several folders and files.

Step 2: Extract SPAI Traffic Pac

The next step is to extract the zip file to a temporary location on your computer. You can use any software that can handle zip files, such as WinRAR or 7-Zip. You will get a folder called "SPAI Traffic V7.1" that contains the following subfolders:

Aircraft: This folder contains all the AI aircraft models and textures that SPAI Traffic Pac uses.

SimObjects: This folder contains the configuration files for each AI aircraft.

Sound: This folder contains the sound files for each AI aircraft.

SPAI: This folder contains the installer and the uninstaller for SPAI Traffic Pac.

Step 3: Install SPAI Traffic Pac

The third step is to run the installer for SPAI Traffic Pac. You will find it in the "SPAI" folder, and it is called "SPAI_Traffic_V7_Installer.exe". You will need to run it as administrator by right-clicking on it and selecting "Run as administrator". You will see a welcome screen that asks you to select your language. Choose your preferred language and click "Next".

You will then see a screen that asks you to select your simulator. You can choose between FSX, FSX Steam Edition, P3D V3, or P3D V4. Select the simulator that you want to install SPAI Traffic Pac to and click "Next". You will then see a screen that asks you to select your simulator path. The installer will try to detect it automatically, but you can also browse for it manually if needed. Make sure that you select the correct path and click "Next".

You will then see a screen that asks you to select your installation options. You can choose between two options:

Full Installation: This option will install all the AI aircraft models, textures, sound files, and configuration files to your simulator.

Custom Installation: This option will let you choose which AI aircraft models, textures, sound files, and configuration files you want to install to your simulator.

We recommend choosing the Full Installation option for the best experience, unless you have a specific reason to customize your installation. Click "Next" after making your choice. You will then see a screen that shows you the installation progress. Wait until it finishes and click "Finish".

Step 4: Use SPAI Traffic Pac

The final step is to use SPAI Traffic Pac in your simulator. You will need to restart your simulator if it was running during the installation process. You will then see a new option in your simulator menu called "SPAI". You can click on it to access the SPAI Traffic Pac settings and features.

You can adjust the traffic density, enable or disable regions, enable or disable sounds, update the traffic database, and more. You can also check the manual for more details on how to use SPAI Traffic Pac. You will find it in the "SPAI" folder, and it is called 061ffe29dd
